Notes from Eric…
Alisha and I have been together 4 years after being introduced by a mutual friend. The first night we met our chemistry was instantaneously felt as soon as we started dancing, which we ended up doing all night, followed by talking until sun up! Much of the time we have spent together has been traveling for mountain biking adventures in the mountains and bikepark adventures with Alisha’s son, Tyler. We love our bikes and the feelings of freedom they provide.
After the romantic proposal at the W Hotel Scottsdale on New Years Eve, we immediately started looking for a wedding location that would be fun, unique, and easy…which of course led us to Vegas! Having no desire to do things traditionally, we started searching for edgy locations and came across the multitude of photoshoots that have been done at Nelson’s unique setting. The Western feel set comfortably with the Midwestern bride and AZ native groom.
DIY Details & About Our Photographer…
We made the paper mache letters spelling out “L O V E” that was sitting on hay bales, also Alisha’s bouquets (the one she was holding as well as the one she was throwing) were made by her and are so special, as well as the boutonnières that Eric and her son Tyler were wearing. When it came to our photographer and having been a professional wedding photographer previously, the choice for Nelson was an easy one!
